I Critique a Letter a 7 Year Old Wrote to a Football Player/Failure

If you don’t follow football then you probably aren’t aware of what took place on Sunday in the Giants vs. 49ers game. Here is a quick recap: The Giants won the game because a player named Kyle Williams turned the ball over twice. Both times it was his fault and he really messed up.

Some people were threatening his life because they were so mad.

Then there is this seven year old kid from Los Angeles that doesn’t seem to understand that winning isn’t everything – that it is the only thing.

Here is the letter this kid wrote to Kyle Williams (the professional football player that doesn’t know that if you aren’t going to catch a punt that you get as far away from it as possible).

Not only is this kids handwriting horse shit but it was scanned on the first scanner ever so here is what it says:

Dear Mr. Williams:

We just watched the Playoff game. I feel really bad for you but I wanted to tell you that you had a great season. you sould be very proud, so I wanted to say thank you.

I am your #1 FAN!

Owen Shure
Los Angeles, CA

p.s. your awsome

First things first Owen, have your lazy Mom or Dad proof read your letter in case it ends up going viral. Some people may think its cute that you spelled “should” s-o-u-l-d but it is not. You SHOULD be ashamed of your hastily written letter. Second.  The 49ers had a great season. Kyle Williams had a horrible season because the only thing he will be remembered for is fumbling the ball two times which cost his team the game and a chance to go to the Super Bowl. Super Bowls don’t grow on trees, little man. So no, Kyle Williams didn’t have a good season. He had the kind of season that will give him nightmares for 30 years. Third, your favorite player is a 6th round pick wide receiver/back up kick returner?  The 49ers team is full of great players and your favorite is one that was on the field for about 25% of the offensive plays during the season.  The 49ers punter played more snaps than your “favorite player.”  Vernon Davis is a stud. Frank Gore is pretty reliable. Hell, even Alex Smith put together a decent season and your favorite player is a guy that no one had heard of until he lost the game on two bonehead plays. I guess you don’t give a shit about ball security.

I know this is mean to rip apart a letter written by a child but don’t feel bad for this kid. I think this whole thing wreaks of bullshit. I am guessing this kids parents heard about the death threats Kyle Williams received and saw an opportunity to get their kid some attention. Fucking California, am I right John McClain?

p.s. You’re awesome. Not YOUR!
