Marriage

It seems like the more work you put into a wedding the less you actually care about your spouse. I don’t like weddings. I went a wedding a little while ago and these two sisters were brides maids so they were wearing the same dress and they look a like except one is a little fatter than the other one and every one kept making the same stupid joke “Oh, you guys look like the double mint twins” and I was like “No they don’t, they look like before and after from the weight watchers commercials”.

I have been married for almost a year now and it has actually been delightful. Some people feel trapped by marriage but I have never felt more free because I can finally talk to women honestly and openly. I don’t have to try and flirt and worry about saying something dumb and I can wear anything I want and I do.

We do fight still but it is different because when it is all said and done we know we are going to be together. That isn’t how it was before we were married. We had some really bad fights and during one of them I was doing the whole I am gonna pack my stuff and leave and I did pack a few things but I didn’t pay attention to what I was packing until I looked in my bag the next day when we had worked things out. This is what I put in my bag: A Belt and A Scarf. That is it I walked around our bedroom looking for things to put in this bag and all I got were things I almost never use.
